Ratargul Swamp Forest, Gowainghat
Best Season: July to October (Monsoon is the only time to see the swamp)Ratargul is the only freshwater swamp forest in Bangladesh and one of the few in the world. It is known as the Amazon of Bengal, where trees stay submerged in water during the rainy season.

How to Reach (Directions)
সিলেট শহরের আম্বরখানা বা সাহেব বাজার থেকে সিএনজি বা লেগুনায় করে গোয়াইনঘাট রোডে মোটরঘাট বা চৌরঙ্গী ঘাট যেতে হবে। মোটরঘাট থেকে নৌকা ভাড়া করে বনের ভেতরে প্রবেশ করতে হয়। এছাড়া হরিপুর হয়েও রাতারগুল যাওয়া সম্ভব, তবে মোটরঘাট পথটি সবচেয়ে জনপ্রিয়।
